BIOGRAPHY: Prof. Dr. MOHAMMAD KHALID is a Professor in Materials for Green Energy Technologies at the University of Glasgow, UK. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from VIT University, India, an MSc in Chemical and Environmental Engineering from University Putra Malaysia, and a PhD in Engineering from the International Islamic University Malaysia. His research focuses on the synthesis of advanced nanomaterials for energy harvesting, storage, and conversion applications. Dr. Khalid has authored over 400 peer-reviewed scientific articles, edited six books, and holds five patents. He serves on the Editorial Boards of Scientific Reports (Springer) and ECS Sensor Plus. In recognition of his contributions to materials science, he has been ranked among the top 2% of scientists globally since 2020. He is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), UK and the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), UK.

BIOGRAPHY : Prof. Dr. MÜSLÜM ARICI is a Professor in the Thermodynamics and Heat Technique Division of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Kocaeli University, Turkey. He has co-authored over 300 papers in prestigious peer-reviewed journals, with more than 11,000 citations indexed in Scopus. He currently serves as an editor for Case Studies in Thermal Engineering; Energy, Ecology and Environment; Journal of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture of Gazi University; and Journal of Thermal Engineering. In addition, he is the co-editor of three international books. He has been listed among the world’s top 2% of scientists by Stanford University for the past five consecutive years. His research interests include thermal energy storage, energy-efficient buildings, renewable energy, and thermal management.

Call for Paper

 

 

 

The main objective of this event is to discuss among researchers the progress made in renewable energies, their applications and the challenges they raise. It also aims to promote these advances in support of efforts undertaken at the national level, both in terms of concrete achievements and ongoing projects, while highlighting the difficulties encountered on the ground during the implementation of the Algerian policy for the deployment of renewable energies.

The topics of this conference cover both fundamental and applied aspects, including different energy sources (solar, wind, hydraulic, marine, geothermal, and bioenergy), as well as issues related to their integration into various sectors of activity (industry, housing, agriculture, transportation, etc.). On the other hand, the meeting encourages young researchers to present their work and integrate into research networks. Additionally, the event will initiate a debate on public policies and support mechanisms for green energy.
